Pleiospilos nelii (Split Rock Plant/ Succulent)

Please note, each 5cm plant is unique and you will receive at least one per 5cm pot. Some have many and some have just one or 2 larger ones. If you need something specific please put it in the notes section of checkout

Pleiospilos nelii, also known as Split Rock, Living Rock Cactus, Cleft Stone, or Mimicry Plant, is an unusual and interesting flowering succulent native to South Africa. This plant doesn't grow more than a few inches in height and has two to four gray-green stone-looking leaves that are separated by a cleft down the centre. They look very similar to Lithops but they are very different! They typically have 2 sets of split leaves at a time and in Spring when the new leaves develop the old set shrivels and dies back.

RATING- Moderate

LOVES- A bright indirect spot is best, with some sun especially in Winter where possible. Re-pot every 3-5 years as they are very slow growing

HATES- Overwatering, soak the soil once it has completely dried out throughout Spring-Summer but reduce frequency in Winter to avoid cracking and rotting.

Pot diameter- 5.5cm

Pet safe
