Mammillaria bombycina (Silken Pincushion Cactus)
The Mammillaria bombycina is native to central Mexico. It is a compact globular cactus that can reach up to 20cm tall and 5cm in diameter. It has many tubercles that are arranged in neat spirals giving it a symmetrical appearance. Between the tubercles there is a covering of white hairs, white radical spines and brown centrals spines The top of each column will produce a ring of bright red/magenta flowers.

HATES- Water-logged soil.
