There are over 2,000 species of Euphorbia, which grow all across the world, but particularly in warmer regions, like this one, the Euphorbia trigona. Known as an African milk tree, this Euphorbia is native to Central Africa. This particular Euphorbia variety is a shade of deep green with 3 sided upright stems that gives it the name 'Trigona'.
Teardrop-shaped leaves and thorns will grow on the sides of these stems. A perennial plant, the euphorbia will drop and regrow its leaves. A statement plant for any room.
RATING: Easy to care for.
LOVES: Euphorbia trigona enjoys a bright spot. Watering when most of the soil is dry.
HATES: Very cold temperatures and over-watering. Do not mist your African Milk Tree!
