Twin Stethoscope
Curious Minds Did You Know? The first stethoscope was invented in 1816 by French doctor René Laënnec and consisted of a wooden tube, similar to an ear trumpet (used by those who were hard of hearing).¬â€
Thanks to the twin headset, two users can listen to the crystal-clear sound of a heartbeat at the same time! An excellent gift for a medical student or veterinary medicine student allowing them to listen to exactly what their teacher is hearing for precise and technical learning!
The dual-head chest piece offers adult and paediatric auscultation simply by rotating the central spline to alternate between the two sides. This has a twisting mechanism for selectable input to minimise interference. Each headset is binaural, and spring fastened, with a rubber tube length being approximately 1.2 metres.
