Harvested in Spring 2023 this is an exceptional example of a Darjeeling First Flush Tea. The flavours of this tea are like red fruits with a smooth and pleasant aftertaste. Rohini tea estate is one of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling and grows teas at relatively low altitudes of 1000-3000ft above sea level making use of at least 7 different tea clones. This tea is from the DJ12 invoice and is graded FTGFOP1 (Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) and is made from the BB157 clone  - the same clone used to make Rohini Jethi Kupi. We buy our Darjeeling teas directly from Rohini and Gopaldhara tea estates and hand pack them in Edinburgh.
